
Also called a digest, this is a handy and economical format for printing multiple pages of text. The maximum finished page size is 5 1/4 X 8 1/4 inches and the total page count must be divisible by eight. Minimum number of pages is eight.
This is a typical magazine-size format, sometimes called a quarter-page or flexie. The maximum finished page size is 8 3/8 X 10 7/8 inches, just under 8 1⁄2 X 11 after trimming. This format can be glued on the spine and trimmed on press. The page count should be divisible by eight, although in some cases it is possible to deliver in four-page increments.
Minimum page count is eight; however, it is possible to print four pages two-up.
The maximum page size is 11 3/8 X 17 1⁄2 inches and can be half-folded (full page size flat) or folded again to 11 3/8 X 8 3/4 inches. The folding is done on press. Page count must be divisible by four and the minimum page count is four.

Note: Page size is the finished dimension of a single page of a finished piece. The back of page one is page two for the purposes of determining page count. There is no limit to the number of pages per book, but there are limits to the number of pages per section, based on the weight of paper and the amount of color.
